Our mission is To glorify God
through the provision of spiritual, social, and medical support,
to the underserved.

There is a healthcare crisis in Haywood County. A shortage of primary care physicians means many residents do not seek or cannot get primary care in the county.

We have good news! Good Samaritan Clinic’s new partnership with the recently created Haywood Health Center, effective June 1, 2016, will provide more comprehensive, accessible and affordable healthcare for Haywood County residents. The Haywood Health Center will assume primary medical care responsibilities, and together, Good Samaritan will serve more patients – under one roof - through increased faith-based support and ministry, access to basic needs, case management services, and medication assistance.

That means more primary care, as well as the spiritual support and critical wrap around services that we know our patients need - and that we will continue to provide.

Our faith is strong. Good Samaritan has always been an extension of the church, and this partnership also allows us to focus even more on increasing our ministry to Haywood Health Center patients. Donda Bennett remains on the Board of Good Samaritan and will be volunteering. She is passionate about our spiritual work and we are fortunate to have her continued support. Current staff members and volunteers will continue to work with Haywood Health Center and Good Samaritan Clinic, providing continuity and a seamless transition.

To Our Current and New Patients - Existing patients will need to sign a consent form to release records to Haywood Health Center.

We Need Volunteers!
Good Samaritan needs volunteers now more than ever! In fact, volunteers will play an even more important role – so please contact us to find out how you can work with us to support our new partnership and expansion of critical medical and support services to those who need it most. If you are interested please contact Carmine Rocco or Florence Willis by phone or email.

Your Support is Key
Our new partnership is great news for Haywood County residents. It also means that Good Samaritan Clinic needs to do more with less – and your continued support is vital. We are so grateful for the support we have received over the last 17 years, and Good Samaritan Clinic will continue to ensure that your contributions shepherd the important role of this faith-based ministry.
